Know More About Children’s Day

Let’s Help Each Other
childrenDay2022

Children’s Day is celebrated every year on November 14 in India. On this day in 1889, Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru, India’s first prime minister, was born. He was given the moniker Chacha Nehru because of his love of children. His birthday has been recognised as Children’s Day ever since his passing in 1964.

On the other hand, International Children’s Day is celebrated on November 20.

What does it mean that India celebrates Children’s Day on Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru’s birthday?

Pt. Nehru was well renowned for his love for kids. According to him, children are the future of the country, and if we want to protect that future, we must all work together to ensure that children have a bright future.

In respect to Nehru ji’s affection for children and his firm belief that children will improve our nation, India started celebrating his birthday as Children’s Day. The main objective of this celebration was to increase awareness among all Indians of the value of giving kids the chance to go to school. They have the right to choose deliberately. It is therefore possible to create a rich, well-run country while also protecting the future of the next generation.

Jawaharlal Nehru famously remarked that a nation’s educational institutions are more valuable than its physical assets. In order to protect them and assure their future, we must acknowledge our children as the nation’s most valuable asset.
Bharoosa Foundaation wholeheartedly agrees with this. India enthusiastically celebrates Children’s Day on 14th November. On this day, memories of Nehru’s encouragement for India’s budding minds are remembered.
